Based on survey clustering, the career profiles of FEB Undip Islamic Economics alumni are distributed across four dynamic and competitive primary fields. A significant portion of graduates excel as Junior Researchers who are skilled in planning and conducting research in Islamic economics and business using appropriate Sharia methodologies. Graduates also demonstrate strong leadership through roles as Junior Managers, applying Sharia management principles to lead various business sectors, organizations, and philanthropic institutions.
Beyond formal professional sectors, alumni actively contribute to the broader economy as Entrepreneurs who identify business opportunities, leverage advances in science and technology to build startups, and manage ethical, Sharia-compliant enterprises. Furthermore, graduates strengthen the socio-economic sector as Empowerment and Development Program Planners, adeptly designing community empowerment programs based on Islamic social funds—such as Zakat, Infaq, and Sedekah—and formulating strategic development initiatives centered on Waqf.
